I'm a photographer, food writer, and traveler. Born in hilly Tuscany, I grew up appreciating some of the best olive oil, wine, and cheese. I then moved to England which I decided to make my new home. It was in Cambridge where I met the wonderful man who is now my husband and father of our little son, Edmund. It is he who is often behind the many dishes I write about and his fingers holding bites of food in my photos.

Whenever I have the opportunity I travel to catch glimpses of foreign colours, smells, and sounds. It is in my blog, asaucepanandasuitcase.blogspot.com, that combines all my passions and where I write about discoveries, culinary experiences, and old classics.

I write often for various magazines, including ItalyMagazine, The FoodieBugle, and Honest Cooking.  I have recently set up a secret supper club at my house and a feature of it has appeared on the Cambridge Magazine.g people in Cambridge .

My recent exhibition at the Cambridge Art Salon was very well received and I am planning a new one soon.
